Project

Yakisugi (also known as Shou Sugi Ban) is a traditional Japanese method of burning wood to preserve it. The method creates water resistance in the wood, while giving it a dark color and a unique alligator skin texture. This set of 6 coasters have sleek, simple design to showcase the Yakisugi effect.
